where the family live,

WROXETER — Mrs. Everett
Gathers' opened her home for the
February meeting of the Tuesday
Starlight -Group this 'past week.
The -devotional • portion of the
meeting was arranged -by Mrs.
Harvey Reidt, Mrs. Doug Stalin,
and Mrs. 'Gathers,• and- opened
with the singing of the theme "Let
the Beauty 'of Jesus -Be Seen in
Me' , followed by a poem, "Love".
"More Love to Thee" was sting
and the Scripture "The Ten Com-
mandments" was read, followed by
prayer. ,
The topic, "Love for God and
Fellow Man" was very ably given,
with added illustrations by Mrs.
Statia, showing that a pure -heart
Is the centre of Christian living if
we follow the commandments of
both Old and New Testaments.
A commentary was given on the
life of St. Patrick followed by a
prayer and the hymn "Happy the
Home", which broeght devotions
to a close,
The business was conchicted by
the vice-president, Mrs, Ken Mc-
Michael, • in the absence of the
presiderlt. The minutes were read
by the secretary, Mrs. Jack Clarke.
Thirteen members answered the
roll call, wrich was‘ a gift to the
Cancer Society.

The treasurer's
report was given by Mrs. Dan
McLaughlin followed by a contest.
The Mizpah benediction closed
the meeting and lunch was served
