Miss Mama Sheardown, of God-
erich, also a cousin of the bride,
was flower girl and wore a dress
similar to the other attendants
and carried a nosegay of yellow
shasta mums. Douglas Crawford, of
Goderich, cousin of the bride, was
ring-hearer.
Attending 'his 'brother as grooms-
man was William Robertson and
the ushers were Ronald -Dobson,
cousin of the groom, from Bramp-
ton, and -Kenneth Crawford, 'brother
of the bride.
The reception was held at the
church, the bride's mother wearing
a lilac Chantilly lace sheath dress
with matching feathered hat,
champagne accessories, and a cor- l I
sage of white mums, She was as-
sisted in receiving the guests by
the groom's mother, who wore a
coppertone satin dress with oyster
and toast accessories and a, corsage
of bronze mums.
Guests were present from New
Liskeard, Toronto, Brampton, God-
erich, Dungannon, Port Albert,
Blyth, Lucknow and Wingham.
Master Kevin Morland, London,
has returned home after spending
two weeks at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Wallace Morland.
Mr. and Mrs, Clarence Grainger
and family, of Wallaceburg, visited
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Grainger for a
few days.

Lived in Gorrie
GORRIN A former Gorrie re-
sident, Mrs. Belle. Taylor, Preston,
died Sunday, Aug. 14th in hospital
after a lengthy illness. She was.
63 years of age.
Born in Flowick ToWnehin, lot 18,
con. 13, she was a daughter of the
late William Galbraith and Susan
Watters. Her early life was spent
in Gorrie.
Her husband, Thomas Taylor
predeceased her, Surviving are
one son, Clarence, of Preston, with
whom she resided; one daughter,
Mra, Tom Fisher (Clara) of Goder-
ich and three grandchildren.
Funeral service and burial were
in Preston on Wednesday. Mr.
and Mrs. Lawrence Galbraith, of
Harriston. and Mrs. Ruth Corbett
attended the fnueral.
QUEBEC TRIP FOR
4-H CLUB WINNERS
GORRIE---- Miss Beth Patterson
of Dobbinton spent Saturday with
Miss Yvonne Snarling. On Sun-
day Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Spar-
ling accompanied the two girls to
Kitchener, where they started on
their bus. trip through Eastern
Ontario and Quebec.
Miss Patterson is the winner of
the 4-H club bus trip in Bruce
County and Miss Sparling from
Huron, Glenn Coulter of Brussels
is the other winner from Huron
County. They will spend six days
touring eastern Ontario and as far
as Quebec City,
Hospital, is spending a month's
'holiday at her home.

Newmarket, spent several days with
Mr. and Mrs. Manfred Irwin,
Mrs. Wm, Thurlow, of McAdam,
New Brunswick, is visiting her
daughter, Mrs. Ken Underwood,

Mr, and Mrs. Frank Duggan and
family, of Trenton, were recent
visitors with Mrs. Duggan's moth-
er, Mrs. Clara Ritchie, and Tom.

Mining Engineer
Dies in Grimsby
BLUEVALE -- Cameron War-
wick McDonald died at West Lin-
coln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby,
on August 19th. He was the son
of the late George McDonald and
Isobel King and was -bore in Blue-
vale in 1902.
He attended Bluevale public
school and Wingham high school,
litter graduating in mining engin-
eering from Queen's University.
He was employed in several mining
centres in Northern Ontario and
Quebec, more recently retiring to
live at Grimsby.
Surviving are his wife, formerly
Kathryn Burke; a daughter, Mrs.
George Peter Cunningham (Ann),
of Grimsby; two grandchildren, El-
izabeth Ann and Susan Isabel Cm-
ranghain and one brother, King, of
Montreal.
The funeral service was held at
the StrinehOUSO Whiteoinb funeral
home in Grimsby on Aug. 20th, with
interment (rimshy cemetery.
Mr. 'and Mrs. Robertson left on
a wedding trip to Northern On-
tario. Mrs. Robertson . wore an
avacado sheath dress with an above
waistline jacket and beige and
brown accessories. Her corsage was
-bronze 'mums. They will live in
Kitchener,

Taylor; a duet by Mrs. Jack For-

to the Young Bride" by Mrs, Har-
old Gaunt,
Marilyn was invited to the seat
of honor under a flower-decked ar-
bour on the platform, which was
tastefully decorated with baskets
of summer flowers, streamers, bells
and a wishing well,
Beverley Gaunt read an address
of good wishes and the bride-elect
was assisted in opening the many
lovely gifts 'by Patsy Foran and by
Lois Miller, who read the cards.

zies Robertson. Rev. G. A. Mal-
colm officiated, The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J, Leon-
ard Crawford. The groom. is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rob-
ertson, R. R. 1, Bluevale.
Mrs. W. W. Currie, of Wingham,
was the organist. She accompanied
Miss Ann Crawford, Lucknow, cou-
sin of the bride, who sang "The
Lord's Prayer" and "0 Perfect
Love."
Mr. Crawford gave his daughter
in marriage, She wore a floor-
length gown of candlelight loft-glo,
sprinkled with guipure lace motifs
and styled on princess lines, with
oracelet-length sleeves. The skirt
fell into a slight train at the back.
Her headdress, a crown of jewelled
sequins and pearls, held -her finger-
tip veil of embroidered nylon tulle.
She carried a cascade bouquet of
