SOFTBALL TEAM
ENTERED IN OASA
Wingham has entered the On-
tario Amateur Softball Associa-
tion Intcameiliate "C" class. This
is the first time a Wingham club
has entered directly, as the ruling
In the past was that the winning
team from the WOAA went on into
OASA.
Due to the fact that the WOAA
could not . declare a winner by
September, or even October, the
OASA has set down a ruling that
all teams competing in their own
Leagues must have an entry in by
July 15th, so that the playoffs
would not go on into the late fall.
With the above in mind, Wing-
ham. will 'be in two leagues and
playing two sets of playoffs at
the same time.
