There were five tables, CLINTON MAN GIVES TALK ON LOADING AT SPORTSMEN'S CLUB Don Epps, of Clinton, was the guest speaker at the regular meet- ing of the Wingham Sportsmen's Club on Monday evening, In ad- dition to 'his talk, he gave excel- lent ,demonstrations on the hand loading of both shotgun and rifle ammunition. The speaker said the hand loading, when properly done, PrOvides inexpensive shooting. His talk. Was much appreciated by the club , members, who have been keenly interested in this aspect of sportsmen's activities. There was a good turnout for the meeting, which was presided over by Terry Nethery, vice-presi- dent. Reporting on entertainment Slim Boucher said that plans are being made fora family night and wiener roast in the near future. A special meeting has been called for July 14, when the NRA instructors will discuss changes which will take effect in Sep- tember. At that time persons who do not carry a current hunting license will be required to undergo a hunter safety test. Instructors from the Wingham and Kincardine areas will attend the meeting, A buffet lunch and coffee was served to conclude . !,,,thering. The next meeting will'be held on Monday, August 1st. The Belgrave Cubs held their regular meeting on Tuesday night with a good attendance, The lead- er, Mrs. Kenneth Wheeler, opened the meeting with the Grand Howl, prayer and inspection. After the story, some of the boys learned semaphore signalling, some learned the patron saints, while other prepared ropes for skipping. Richard Anderson was invested and welcomed in the pack, Brian Hopper has earned 'his first star and is now ready to start second star work.
