ANDERSON INDUCTED THURSDAY BELO-RAVE -- Induction service was held in Knox United Church on Thursday evening for Rev. J. Anderson, of Wheatley, The ser- vice opened -with the hymn, "Stand Up and Bless the Lord" and the ser- vice was conducted by Rev. T. G. Husser, BA„ BD., of the Wingham United Church, The responsive reading was taken from I Peter and 21 .Tohn, The choir sang the anthem, "0 Give Thanks Unto the -Lord," with the solo parts being taken by Miss Ruth Procter and George Johnston. After the offering was received and dedicated, the -hymn "0 Word of God Incarnate" was sung. Rev, II, A. Inunge, of Londeshoro, gave the sermon, taking his text from Exodus 20:22-23; "That they ,may minister unto me". During his sermon Rev, Fuego told of the three temptations of Christian ministry, these being, Recline, Shine and Wine. At this point the induction set- Vice was -held, and Hey. Funge -led Rev, Anderson to the front and Rev. Husser conducted this part of the service, After the service, best Wishes Were extended front -the Presbytery -and the hymn "Co Spirit of the Living God" was sung and the newly inducted minister gave the benediction.
