its students preparing for full-time
vocations in the church to tour a

music of the chtirch the purpose of
such a tour is to interest other
young people in full-time service

The Missionary and Deaconess
Training School is the one educa-
tional institution of the Presby-
terian Church in Canada for the
training of young women for
deaconess, Christian education and
missionary work in Canada and
overseas. Members of the choir
come from all but two of the ,pro-
vinces of Canada, plus one from
Bermuda and one formerly of

Miss M. Gowdy
A, shower was held for Miss Mur-
iel. Gowdy prior to her marriage
last Saturday, when about 70
friends and neighbors gathered in
the council chamber at the town

Highway 21 to the Douglas Point
Project site, comprising the im-
provement of the Second Conces-
sion Road of Bruce Township for
approximately 4 Miles, and build-
ing approximately .2 miles of new
road. Paving is not included in this
contract.
The site of the Douglas Point
Project is located on the east shore
of Lake Huron, about mid-way be-
tween. Kincardine and Port Elgin.
The new section of road is to be
completed by August 15, 1960, and
the whole of the work is to be com-
pleted by October 31, 1960.
