an interesting address, comparing
parts of the Easter lily and its
bulb with our physical needs, and
its flower with life and spiritual
side, brings beauty and, wholesome-
ness to living, each being part of
God's plan. Mrs. Norman Coultes,
thanked the speaker and presided
for the business.
The bale is to be sent in May,
and Mrs. Coultes closed the meet-
ing With the benediction. The
ladies served sandwiches and cook-
ies, with a cup of tea.

of the local baseball teams eatered
last Wednesday evening for a hot
turkey supper in the Memorial
Hall when two hundred and forty
sat down together. Seated ut the
head table were John Brent, M.C.
for the occasion, Thomas Morri-
son, president; Will Henry, secre-
tary-treasurer; Managers Charles
Moore, Cecil Falconer. Leroy lain-
tont and William Purdon; Joe Tif-
fin, umpire; John Bell, guest spea-
ker and Garnet Farrier.

team played orchestra numbers,
Muriel Conn danced the highland
fling and the Farrier orchestra
played several selections. William
Henry gave the treasurer's report,

small villages and towns, where
all work together to attain the
success the Whiteehureh teams ac-
quired last year. The Bantams
and the Midgets both won cups,

dies for the excellent supper and
Mrs. George Fisher responded.
