When Autumn leaves are falling
And the great outdoors is calling,
Have you ever watched those pretty leaves
Come tumbling down from off the trees?
Some flutter down the mountain side
As if in a hurry to seek and hide
From the cold 'blasts of winter time,
And wait for Spring when warm sun will shine.
Others drift over valleys green
To create a pattern you've rarely seen.
Many fall in streams and really float
Down to ponds and lakes. like a sail boat.
You will be amazed and full of delight
At all the brilliant colours and hues within your sight.
So when Autumn leaves are falling, may love abide with thee
For only God Eternal can ever make a tree.
