Heritage tours, of historic and architectur-
ally interesting houses in four Huron
municipalities are being sponsored this
summer by the Architectural Conservancy of
Ontario, Huron County Branch. Tea will be
served after each tour.
A tour by bus of the Clinton area starts at 2
p.m. at the Clinton Town hall on Saturday
and Sunday, July 10 and 11. The next
weekend Seaforth will have two tours each
day, at 1:30 and 3:30 on Saturday and
Sunday July 17 and 18 The toiir hus will
leave from the Van Egmond House in
Egmondville, iust south of town
Bayfield's will be.a walking Tour in the
afternoon and evening of Wednesday and
Thursday, July 28 and 29. A tour of farm
houses around Goderich will be held August
14 and 15 and the tour bus will leave from the
Courthouse Square at 2 each day.
The cost of each tour is S3, with tea
included and a special rate of S10 for all four
tours is available. Tickets are available from
Conservancy members in all four towns and
at the tour departure sites. . ,
LUCKNOW CRAFT FESTIVAL: One of the
area's oldest and largest craft festivals takes
place in Lucknow arena, Friday, July 30 from
1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, July 31 from
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
THE 1976 RIPLEY CRAFT SHOW, presented
by Huron -Bruce Arts and Crafts Inc., will
display a variety of pioneer and modern crafts
by local artisans. In addition there will be a
sale of fresh produce and baked goods. To be
held at the Ripley -Huron Recreational
Complex in Ripley, Friday, July 30 from 10
a.m. to 10p.m. and Saturday, July 31 from 10
p.m. to 6 p.m. For further information call
