Festival Theatre is Shakespeare's Twelfth
Night starring Brian Bedford, Tom Kneebone

SAINT JOAN: Shaw comes to Stratford and
gives Pat Galloway another chance to show
her exceptional talent as an actress. 2:00 p.m.

MEASURE FOR MEASURE: Robin Phillips
directs this dark comedy that explores the
twin themes of justice and power with
sexuality as the pivot around which the story
revolves. Starring Brian Bedford, Martha
Henry, William Hutt, Stephen Mact, Richard
Monette and Kathleen Widdoes. 8:30 p.m. on

TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA: To be
very young is to be very much in love, but not
always with the same person two days
running, and to swear eternal friendship only
to find eternity ends the day after
tomorrow. Shakespeare moves out of the
Festival Theatre and over to the Avon. 2:00

A COMEDY OF ERRORS: After touring the
country this winter this play starring Jackie

THE CRUCIBLE: The conniving girls crie.
"witch!" and a town goes mad. The setting is
17th century Salem but it could be any town in
any age that makes difference or dissent the
basis of persecution. Henry Miller's play
opens at The Avon on July 28 at 7:30 after
previewing the night before at the same time.
It's also on at 8:30 on July 30.
THE FOOL and LE MAGICIEN: Two new
operas will open the season at The Third
Stage on July 30 at 7:30 p m.
ARIADNE AUF NOXOJ: The story of this
opera revolves around the lovesick Ariadne,
whom the frivolous Zerbinetta and her
helpers try to cheer and show joy in life is
ultimately reawakened by Bacchus. Opening
at The Third Stage July 31, 7:30 p.m.
