This month
Welcome, this month, to many new readers in Mitchell and
Stratford as the Village Squire expands its coverage area.
First of all, for our new readers, an explanation of just what
Village Squire is. Village Squire for the past year has been
bringing the people in Huron and Perth counties (for the
most -part in the urban centres) stories about interesting people
and places in the area. We try to tell you about people with
interesting businesses or interesting hobbies. We try to tell you
about what is going on not just with the famous people, but with
some of the not -so -famous who are still interesting.
We try to keep people up to date in what's happening in art, in
theatre, both amateur and professional and in the many other
fields that go to making this one of the best parts of the country to
live in.
Bascially, Village Squire is a celebration of the wondo-rful
things that make up the lifestyle of Huron-Perth-Bruce...a life
style we think is as exciting as any in the world.
We also bring you the efforts of writers in the area who may
never have had a chance to see their work in print before.
In all, Village Squire is a package that many have found very
interesting in the past year. We hope our new readers will too.
