The team Teeswater 8 Lucknow 4 played a terrific game scoring the first Lucknow tri yelled to Teeswater the next eight goals of the game while goalie ': rian night. Lucknow's first goal was scored by Kevin De Jong and Harvey Kikkert both Kevin De Jong, assisted by Jeff Gammie had two for Lucknow. Assists went to and Steve Huffman. John Vandervelde had Kevin De Jong, Kirk Livingston and Jeff a good night scoring a hat -trick, two Gammie with two and Dave MacDougall, unassisted and the other assisted by Scott Jeff Burgsma, Jamie Humphrey, Jeff Gibson. Tykes win re -match with Ripley In a hard-fought and exciting game, the Lucknow Tykes came out on the winning end of an 8-3 score in a re -match against the Ripley Tykes on December 13. However, the game was much closer than the score indicated. Lucknow started strong and broke out to a 5-0 lead. But, mid -way through the game, Ripley scored three quick goals to bring them within striking distance. In the last three minutes of play, Lucknow scored three goals to. put the game out of reach. Coaches Rivett, Paolin and Hackett were well pleased with the play of the Tykes, especially the defense who played a steady game, continually shooting the puck into the Ripley zone. Leading the Tykes in the scoring depart- ment was Mark Kerr .with four big goals ( including a gift from a Ripley player). Congratulations Mark ! Adding singles were Brent Cameron, Trevor Moffat, Jonathon MacKinnon and Joan Ferguson. The Tykes will travel to Teeswater next weekend to ,play in *their annual Tyke tournament. Atom B's post win over Walkerton • In Lucknow Atom B action this week, the team posted their second win of the season against Walkerton 4-1. Lucknow 4 Walkerton 1 r. Walkerton scored the first marker of the game, but that would be all the scoring for the visitors. Opening the scoring for the locals was . Nathan Daer with 3:45 left in the first period. Only seconds later, the boys had Walkerton backed into a corner as Jeremy Brindley dented the twine with, a pass from Colin Humphrey and Scott Rintoul. There was no scoring in the second period, but the boys ,had some good chances but couldn't capitalize.' The third period was all Lucknow. The EY EY; Er; Pni third goal for the host team was scored on a nice set-up passing play which resulted from an end-to-end rush by defenseman Scott gintoul with assists going to Dean Tiffin and Nathan Daer. The last goal was scored by a newcomer to the team Dan Jones who let a hard wrist shot go from the blue line. Other mention goes to both goalies Blair Bieman and Jeremy O'Neill who made his debut in net and made some very good saves. Colin Humphrey, Tammy „Hogan and Ryan Slotegraaf also played well. Good game boys! The next game is against Hanover Canadian Tire at Hanover on December 20 at 10:30 a.m. Where's the game guys?
