Mrs. Maude Park and Mrs. Nell Handy of
Goderich visited for several days in
Pulaski, Ohio. While there, they attended a
family Christmas get-together.
Sympathy is extended to Colleen Eedy
on the death of her sister, Helen BlaiXr in
Tillsonburg on Tuesday, September 2 in
her ard year. Services were conducted on
Saturday, December 6 in London.
Devin Maize, three-year-old son of Rick
and Sherry Maize, underwent openheart
surgery on Tuesday at Victoria hospital in
London. All the best wishes from the com-
munity are extended at this time.
There were 122 tables of euchre at the
Seniors' Centre on We,esday evening.
High lady was Mary Stewart; low lady -,
Elsie Dyck; high white card - Margaret
Errington; low man - John Harris . The
mystery prize was won by Ernest Durnin.
The Youth Group of Dungannon United
Church served a pancake and sausage
breakfast following the services on Sun-
day, the third Sunday in Advent. On Sun-
day evening, the- CGIT girls under the
leadership of Penny Hodges and Tammy
Williams held a Vesper Service. Eleven
girls took part in the Candlelighting
ceremony.
Gertrude Park underwent ; surgery on
Monday morning at Wingham hospital 'to
have a lump removed. She. has been a pa-
tient there for three weeks.
Intended for last week
Fourteen tables of euchre were played at
the Dungannon Senior Citizens' Centre
Wednesday evening. Winners were: High
lady - Helen Russell; low lady - Femme
Groen; high man - Tom Tobey; low man -
John Andrew. The mystery prize winner
was Ted Bowers while Lois Haggitt was
the door prize winner of soap donated by
Beth Dickson. .
Jim and Margaret Errington and the
Pannabecker families attended the annual
Dahmer family Christmas dinner at the.
Tama Inn, New Hamburg on Sunday.
Get well wishes are extended to the
following Dungannon residents in the
hospital: Gertrude Park in Wingham,
Doris Hodge in Victoria, London and
Harold Errington in University, London.
A white gift service was held at the
Dungannon United Church'on Sunday with
the Sunday school in charge. The collec-
tion taken will be presented to the Huron
Family Services.
Sunday visitors with Geroge, Jean and
dill Errington were - Jim and Celia Ait-
chison, Bob, Beth and Beverley Aitchison,
all of St. Helens, Cliff and Peg Purdon of
Dungannon, Marie Button and John Ait-
chison of Blyth, Dawna, Bob and Norma
Morgan of Kerwood and Betty Errington
of London, The family gathering was
special because the Aitchison brothers and
sisters were all together, the first for some
time.
Cindy and Roger Bruce, Cambridge,
were weekend visitors of John and Valene
Johnson. The Bruce's will be residents of
Lucknow in February.
School concert held
South Kinloss Sunday School concert
was held on Sunday with a pot luck dinner
first. The children put on a very good con-
cert and everyone enjoyed the little ones.
Sympathy is extended to Margaret and
Ted Collyer on the death of Margaret's
brother-in-law Graham Pinkney of Ajax.
I wish to extend my 'wishes for a Merry
Christmas and may everyone drive
carefully so we can spend a wonderful
time with our families.
