Township council appoints committee
Reeve Barry Johnston and all council
members were present for the 'regular
council meeting on December 2, 1986.
Barry Johnston was appointed as
representative on the Bruce County Plann-
ing Advisory Committee for 1987 and
!'avid Eadie was appointed to act as
alternate.
The tender of Ray Buckmeier was ac-
cepted to blow snow at the Township waste
disposal site at the rate of $45 per hour for
the 1986-87 winter,
A building permit application was ac-
cepted for Allen C. Mitchell, lot 21, conces-
sion 6 to construct a utility building.
General accounts for $145,290.21 and
road accounts for $14,122.46 Were
approved.
The Maitland Valley Conservation
Authority was authorized to proceed with
the preparation of water and related land
resource mapping in the Township of
Kinloss on the Lucknow River system at
an upset limit of $450 cost to the Township.
Mrs. Kathy Howald is appointed to the
Bruce County Library Board for the year
1987.
A motion was passed that the Reeve and
the Clerk be authorized to sign an agree-
ment between the Bruce County Board of
Education and the Township of Kinloss
which sets out conditions for the re -sale of
the former Kinloss Central School proper-
ty
roperty at part lot 9, concession 8 if re -sale
should occur.
Alma Conn -Armstrong who is the public
school trustee representative of the
Township on the Bruce County Board of
Education attended comicial to answer and

explain a councillor's queries in regard to
1986 increase in school board levy of
$31,310.00 over and above the 1985 levy.
Subsequently, a catch-up cheque for
$128,087.97 was forwarded to the Bruce
County Board of Education for outstanding
requisitions.
