St Luke's Church in the Garden
was the setting for the wedting of Lori
Jeara Miller and George Minow 911i•
September 12 1986. The bride is the
daughter of Mrs. Eileen Miller and the ]late
Allan A, Miller and the groom is the son of
Mrs. Barbara Minow and the late John
Minow of London. The church was
decorated with candelabra and floral ar-
rangements in shades of dusty rose and
white. Rev. Doug Kaufman of Owen Sound
performed the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her brother,
Douglas Miller of Brampton, the bride
wore a tea -length dress of chantilly lace
over satin, picture hat and veil. She car-
ried a cascade of dusty rose and white
roses, stephanotis and baby's breath.
Miss Karen Lebarge of London was the
Maid of Honour and the bridesmaid was
Mrs. - Faye Aliinew of London. Little
Heather Minow was the flowergirl. The at-
tendants were gownedln dusty rose with
similar cascades of flowers to the bride.
The groomsmen were John Sotiriadis of
Ottawa and Mike 'Willow of London, Guests
from Ottawa, •Owen Sound, Victoria, ,Sar-
nia, Toronto and the Lucknow area were -
ushered by the bride's brother, Lynn
Miller of Waterloo.
Following the wedding dinner and recep-
tion at the London Regional Art Gallery,
the young couple travelled to Eastern
Canada and the USA. They are residing in
Waterloo where the bride is on staff at the
K -W Hospital and the groom is with
Byron Waterloo North Hydro.

friend. of the bride and groom. The
Groomsman was David Black of Lucknow,
brother of the groom. Ushering the guests

friend of the bride and groom and Don
MacMillan of Avonmore, Ontario, friend of

• tion at the Ambassador Motor Hotel in
Kingston, the couple honeymooned in the
Eastern Township of Quebec at the
Chateau Montebello, Quebec. The MC for
the reception was Ben Tilompson` of Toron-
to, cousin of the groom. Guests attended
from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto,
Lucknow, London and Wingham. Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Black and Michelle attended the
wedding from Germany. Mr. and Mrs.
Kevin Black will reside at Bath, Ontario,

Marty Askes
Lorna Askes (Boyle) wishes to announce
the graduation of her husband Marty from
the Construction Engineering Technology
(Management) program at Fanshawe Col-
lege in London on November 7. Marty was
the recipient of the Atkinson Foundation
Award and the Ontario Institute of Quanti-
ty Surveyors Award at the awards
ceremony on November 14. During his co-
op work term last year he and Lorna spent
• six months in Glasgow, Scotland where he
was employed with a Quantity Surveying
firm. Marty is the son of the late John and
Bontje Askes of Wingham and the son-in-
law of Jim and Mary Boyle of Lucknow. He
is currently employed as an estimator with
McKay -Cocker Construction in London.
