Site 1 is on the North part of Lot 12, Con- cession 12, Township of Ashfield, and Site 4 is on the South part of Lots 53 & 54, Concession 1, in the Township of Kinloss, as shown on the following sketch. Representatives of the engineering firm conducting the study and the Ministry of the Environment will be present to explain what is proposed to be constructed with respect to the proposed sewage works and to answer any questions that may arise. For information concerning the above, contact the Clerk of Lucknow, Mrs. B. Whitcroft, during normal business hours. B. WHITCROFT - CLERK VILLAGE OF LUCKNOW Attend music recital Mr. and Mrs. John Mowbray, Mr. and Mrs. Virden Mowbray and Mr. and Mrs. Herb Buckton were Duncan Mowbray's guests at an evening of music presented by the students of Ruth Alton at Brookside school on Tuesday evening. Dr. and Mrs. Bill Buckton, George and David of Waterloo visited over the weekend with Bill's family and all were dinner guests with Marian and John Mowbray and Duncan. Phyllis Wallace of London visited over the weekend with Ruth and Don Bell and with Ena Steer of Lucknow. Sunday was 130th anniversary services at South Kinloss Presbyterian Church with Rev. Alex MacDonald of Aurora as guest minister. Special music by the junior and senior choir, a duet by Wanda and Murray Keith and a trio by Ruth Bell, Shirley Colwell and Rena Forster were enjoyed by everyone. Rev. and Mrs. MacDonald were guests with Mr. and Mrs. Frank MacKenzie for the weekend and were Sunday supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ira Dickie. Mrs. S. MacDonald and Mrs. Carl De Leuze of SQUTH by B th.,:Bwhmeier Toronto and Mrs. Vera Schmidt were also supper guests with Ira and Elizabeth. Mr. and Mrs. William Dickie and family visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Denver Dickie and were present at the baptism of their daughter, Deanna Beth, at the morning church service in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Sutton. Visiting with Wanda and Murray Keith over the weekend were Donna and Len Chapman and family of Richmond Hill, Keith and Jan Reid and family from Chesley, and Daine Keith and friend from Scarborough. They all attended a family wedding in Teeswater on Saturday. Visiting. with Margaret and Evan Keith over the weekend wre Mack and Fern Keith of Unionville. The four attended the wedding of Evan and Mack's nephew in Teeswater on Saturday. Ashfield WMS plans bazaar By Rhoda MacKenzie The WMS of Ashfield Presbyterian Church held the June meeting at the home of Mrs. Grant Farrish. Mrs. Rhoda MacKenzie as convener opened the meeting by, Sioux prayer 0 Great Spirit, followed by a hymn. The Bible study was given by Mrs. Lloyd Collins and chose a woman of the Bible, Deborah, and told of her leadership. The roll call was answered by a Bible verse containing a flower, bird or tree. Mrs. Grant Farrish gave the highlights of the June Glad Tidings. The Study Book, session five, was given by Mrs. Rhoda MacKenzie. She read from Corinthians and a hymn was sung. She also spoke about the local native people in our surrounding community and government supported education, health and religion for the native people. The business of the meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs. Charlie Wilkins. The minutes were read by the secretary Mrs. Ewan MacLean; treasurer's report by Mrs. Warren Wylds. Plans were made for the Tea and Bazaar to be held on July 12 at the church and also a cleaning bee at the church on Thursday, June 19 starting at 9 a.m. All members are asked to come and help. The meeting closed with a hymn and prayer and Mrs. Donald Simpson followed by grace. Institute enjoys annual picnic By Mary MacGillivray Twenty-one ladies sat down to a delicious dinner at the park on Tuesday for r the annual WI picnic. Ruth Bogues, the president,, presided for the business part of the meeting. Tillie Wilson read the minutes and took the roll call in the absence of the secretary - treasurer Jean Whitby. An invitation to the Homebound annual meeting will be attend- ed by Grace Campbell representing the Lucknow Women's Institute. An invitation to Ripley Legion Hall where a tea will be held on June 17 was also read with the pro- ceeds going to Kincardine Hospital. The Area Convention will be held September 8 at the Southampton Arena. This will be attended by Kay MacIntosh, Tillie Wilson, Edna Young and Mary MacGillivray. Mabel Whitby reported for the bus trip which is on August 14th. Contests were conducted by the commit- tee in charge - Tillie Wilson and Grace Taylor. Bingo was also played.
