Festival's spring prog
Comedy and music are the important
elements rn. Blyth Festival's '86/87 Fall/
Spring Program. The series' goes on sale to
the public on May 1. Audiences will be
entertained by a country music comedy, a
play about the trials . of an executive -
turned `far'rner, and a variety of musical
events ,. A Ifui1. roster of entertainment for
children % also, goes on , sale May 1.
The Adult -Series kicks off with Letter
From Wingfield Farm, a ' comedy about a
Bay Street executive who retreats "back to
the simplelife" on his hobby farm. The
one t man 'show Will be seen on Friday,
Septeniler 26 at 8 pm, • .
Val'dy, the well known and respected
musician and performer, will present a
concert: on Saturday, October 25 at -8 .p.m.
The Festival is pleased to be welcoming
one of the world's great romantic classical
pianists,;, `A.nton. Kuerti,.. who will perform
here on :Friday, November 14 at 8' P.m.
A real toe -tapping evening of fun is in
store when Fumps. Boys and Dinettes come
to town:; This country, music 'comedy, from
the Charlottetown Festival will be present=
ed on Sunday, April 5,- 1985 at .2 pm.
