Lucknow pair win eastern show
Christie and Ab
add to their
achievements
At the recent annual meeting of the
AHAEC (Arabian Horse Association of
Eastern Canada) Christie Messenger of
Lucknow and her Arabian - Andegor
Abnaa were presented with the Open
Competition High Point Award.
Andegor Abnaa received a point for
every horse he placed over in 1985. The
classes must be open to horses of all
breeds and sizes and riders of any age.
Christie and Ab earned 297 points at
six shows, the highest points in Eastern
Canada.
This is quite an achievement for an 18
year old horse. Christie and Ab became
a team in 1977 and over the years have
acquired a long list of ac:ornplishinents.
Some of the highlites of their career
includes the 1980 Canadian National
Jumper Championship and the 1981
Open Competition High Point Award.
Christie, in conjunction with John
Wilson of Toronto, is presently planning
an equestrian school .in the, Lucknow
area. They are hoping get underway
sometime in May, offering a "course in
riding instruction, horse care and stable
management
