The second game of the playoffs was scheduled for Feb. 17 in Lucknow. On Feb. 16 Lucknow played an exhibi- tion game against Kalamazoo, Michigan in Lucknow. Kalamazoo, the day before had defeated Port Elgin 6 - 1 and Ripley 7 - 0 and on Sunday they continued their winning ways defeating Lucknow 7 - 2. The game stayed close thru the midway of the game when the hard skating team from Michigan took over and scored the last five goals of the game. Lucknow's goals were scored by Brad Murray, with Donnie Gammie assisting on one and Art Galloway assisting on the other. Kalamazoo took advantage of Lucknow's mistakes and frustration caused the home town boys to get many foolish penalties, thus creating more opportunities for the visitors. It was certainly an action filled game and a good effort from both teams. Mildmay hands novices a loss Mildmay 8, Lucknow 1 Lucknow Novice travelled to Mildmay on the evening of Feb. 10.
