Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Robb of RR 1 Ripley
are pleased to announce the graduation
of their daughter 011ie Liddle from
Seneca College of Applied Arts and
Technology, Willowdale. 011ie graduat-
ed with a diploma in registered nursing
and has accepted a position with North
York Hospital in Willowdale. Gradua-
tion ceremonies were held on Jan. 24 at
the Newnham Campus of Seneca Col-
lege.
DICKIE - Denver and Brenda of Sutton are
happy to announce the birth of their
daughter, Deanna Beth, born in Newmark-
et Hospital Jan. 31, 1986, weighing 7 lb. 5
oz. A sister for Alexander.
MacDonald - Colling
'Donald Elwood MacDonald, St. Helens,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Angus MacDonald
and Mary Anne Coiling, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Colling of RR 1 Ripley
were joined in marriage on Nov. 22, 1985.
The service was held , in Ripley United
Church with Rev. Glen MacPherson offici-
ating. Matron of honor was Carol Ann
Hohner, sister of the bride, of Milton. Best
man was Wayne Todd, St. Helens, with
Doug MacDonald, Brent Colling and
Shawn Colling as ushers. Ringbearer was
Devon Colling, son of the bride. The recep-
tion was held at Lucknow Community
Centre. Mr. .and Mrs, MacDonald are
residing
at RR 7 Lucknow.

Brindleys married 53 years
Congratulations to I,ouise and Russ
Brindley on the occasion of their 53rd wed-
ding anniversary on January 28.
Sympathy is extended to Pete Jefferson of
Donnybrook and the Jefferson relatives on
the death of his sister, Gladys Jefferson on
Tuesday, January 21, in her 94th year. Spr-
ing interment in Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow.

Tim Spivak and Joel Bendig who are
celebrating birthdays this month.
Torn and Verna Hallam of Auburn visited
with Verna's mother, Gertrude Park on Sun-
day.
Congratulations to Eric and Kathy McNee
on the birth of their daughter Alexandra
Lorna, a sister for Jeffrey.
Jirn and Janice McWhinney, Colleen and
Allison of Meaford visited on the weekend
by Marie Park
with Hugh and Wiletta McWhinney. While
here, Colleen and her gtampa, Hugh,
celebrated their birthdays which are actual-
ly on January 28th. Also attending were Ken
and Lexie Murch, Stacey and Vincent of
Clinton, Bob and Sandy McWhinney and
Rob and Tara of Kincardine.
Elmer and Gail Cook and Kevin visited on
Sunday in Kippen with Robert and Marilyn
Schultz, Terry, Tina and Lisa.
There were 16 tables at -the weekly seniors
euchre. Winners were high pink card, Ila ,
Pollock; low pink card, Lois Haggitt; high
white card, Allister Nivins and law white ,
card, John Harris.
Sympathy is extended to the family of the
Iate William John Petrie who passed away
in Goderich hospital.
Stevenson scores pair of hat tricks
The Lucknow Atom As continue to win as
they won against Tiverton 8 - 4, and Ripley
6 - 1. Scoring in the Tiverton game with a
hat trick was Chris Stevenson with Justin
Murray and Rob Crich assisting; Tom
Chilton with Vince Sticklend assisting; and
Clint Murray with Vince Sticklend assisting
once more. Justin Murray scored twice
with Chris Stevenson assisting on both
goals and Ray Dalton put one away with
Brad Rhody assisting.
Scoring in the Ripley game was Chris
Stevenson with another of his many hat
tricks this year, assisted by Rob Crich and
Justin Murray. Justin Murray scored the
fourth goal unassisted. Rob Crich scored
with Chris Stevenson assisting, 'and Terry
Stanley scored the sixth goal unassisted.
