Hi this is Amy Knechtcl speaking and I would like to share some Christmas traditions at the Knechtel household. Every year we put up two Christmas trees. We have one tree that we put red lights on and the other tree we put white lights on. We decorate them up with or-'. naments of every shape and size: When we're done decorating we take a picture of the- tree or a pic- ture of one of us kids putting an .ornament on the tree. Another one of our Christnias traditions is that every Christmas we celebrate a Knechtel Christmas and we have a big turkey dinner. The next day we celebrate our Kniphel Christmas. That night we travel home ready to start the new ' year. Onc other special family tradition is that every year we go down to the post office and hang our decorations that we made on the tree. My Mom and Dad are in charge of bringing the hot chocolate home and making it. That means when we get down there Laura and I have to go around and serve hot chocolate: • These arc some of the Knechtel traditions. We have many more but 1 just don't have time to write them all down on paper. Maybe next year I will put some more of the Knech- tel traditions in the paper. Marry Christmas and Happy New Year!
