Season greetings to all the readers
of thc Lucknow news each week.
The Christmas actiJities seem to
begin earlier each year with the
many different programs and con-
certs. Some families get together to
enjoy an early. Christmas, as one
lady mentioned she had already
attended four.
Sunday School programs are part
of • the Christmas season. Sunday
morning the United Church wit-
nessed the Chrisunas pageant
"Chrisunas Through The Centuries"
put on by the pupils. The story
began in 750 B.c. and went right
through to 1994 with different
classes presenting each part. The
service was followed' by a pot luck
lunch. •
.Sunday evening the Presbyterian
Church commenced their activities
with a pot luck lunch at 5:30 and
the Sunday School presented their
program following supper.

Logtenberg - Gerald and Kay, of
R.R. 1, Dungannon, arc delighted to
announce the safe arrival of their
daughter', Carrie Lynn, on Dec. 7,
1994 at the Lucknow Medical
Centre, weighing 10 lbs, 9 oz.
Carrie Lynn is a wee playmate for
Megan and Dcrck, and a
granddaughter for Dcrk Logtenberg,
Gordon and Phyllis Morrison, and a
great grandma Mrs. Simon DeBocr.
Lefor Terry and' Michelle Lefor
are pleased to announce the birth of
their daughter; Mackayla Nicole,
born at $t. Josephs Hospital, Lon-
don, on Ndv. 29, 1994, weighing 8
lbs. 13 oz. Proud grandparents are
Donnie and .Diane Gibson, • Luck -
now, Karen and Nick Lefor; Brus-
sels, Ellen Lefor of London and
Gary .DeActis of London.

Noma Campbell and Richard
Grant were high shoot players at
the Drop in Centre last week. In
Idw spots were Evelyn Errington
and Wesley Young. Lois Chamney
had the most shoots.

we all gather wound the Christmas
tree and open our Christmas
presents together. Then we give our
parcnLv their presents.
The decorations we use for our
Christmas tree is tinsel, lights and
ornaments. But my cat usually tries
to open the presents on Christmas

Kirk and Anne Patterson have
moved into the home they pur-

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Moore bought
the home of Mr. and Mrs. John
Snell at 614 Palmerston Street.
Having sold his home at 654

Lamoureux, Allan Scott moved into
the home he purchased from Anne

Gwen Campbell is now living in
an apartment over DeeVee's and
her home on Inglis Street has been
bought by Dungannon Custom
Builders.

Anna Mac Hunter had all her
family home on Saturday for an
early Chrisunas get together in the
common room at the Glenn Haven
Apartments.
Visiting with Debbie Gammie is
her mother Elsa Grist from
Langley, B.C. .

Caitlin and David Gammie of Daw-
son City and Kevin of Prince

Logtenberg -' Van Osch
On Oct. 1, 1994, Agnes Marie
Van Osch and Kenneth Derk
Logtenberg were .united in mar-
riage at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, Kingsbridge. Father
Harry Reitzel performed the
ceremony while Marianne Hogan
was the organist and soloist. The
bride is the daughter of Joseph
and Thelma Van Osch of Luck -
now. The groom is the son of
Derk Logtenberg of Dungannon,
and the late .Tinie Logtenberg.
Agnes' maid of honor wan her
sister,' Brenda Van Osch. Her
other attendants were a friend,
Barbara Wattam and Ken's
sister, Melissa Logtenberg. Ken's
groomsman was a friend, Mike
Howe, while Ken's brother Jerry
Logtenberg and Agnes' brother,
John Van Osch, were the ushers.
The flowergirl, Tina Logtenberg,
and the ringbearer, Mathew Van
Osch, are niece and nephew of
the married couple.,Ken's sisters,
Francis Farrell and Irene West,
lighted the candelabras at the
start of the service. Two of Ag-
nes' cousins, Colleen and Steve
Anne Guay of Lucknow
graduated with distinction from
the University of Waterloo with a
3 -year Bachelor of Math, on Oct.
22, •1994. Ray and Susan Guay,
Margaret, Bruce and Cathy
Hamilton, and Claude and Lorna
Guay attended the graduation
ceremony.
