KINLOSS TOWNSHIP - The
new council for this municipality,
took the oath of office at the Dec. 5
meeting. Appointments were made
to various boards.
Reeve 'Jim Boyle will sit on -the
Maitland Valley Conservation
Authority and the Lucknow and
District Medical Centre boards.
Representatives on the Lucknow
and District Fire Department board
are Brian Woll•c and Gerald Doel-
man. Doelman and Deputy Rceve
Leo Murray will sit on the Luck -
now and District Joint Recreation
Committee. Wolfe and Murray were
appointed to the Whitechurch Com-
munity Hall Committee.

Councillor Gerald Mowbray will
be the Kinloss representative on the
Phase 11 arena complex committee.
Former councillor Edina Jean.Hal-
denby attended the meeting to bring
council up-to-date on project maf-
ters and handed o'Verall 'the

Mowbray.
Council accepted the quote of

bagging fees in Kinloss Township
in place of the existing manner of
incorporating the fee withih the mill
rate. Council agreed that the recom-
mendation would not work in a
rural 'area. such as ' Kinloss.
Everything is working well at the
landfill site, where a recycling
program is also in place. •
• There was some discussion. on
new steps being needed at the
Whitechurch Community Hall. This
matter will . be discussed ,by the
newly apj)ointed members (Wolfe
and Murray) at the upcoming
meetings.
The OMB' pre -hearing conference
(Donegan) scheduled for Thursday
has been postponed until Dec. 211
at 9:30 a.m., d'uc to the chairman
