. Mabel Mary Hunter
Mabel Mary (Hammond) Hunter
of R.R. 1, Dorchester, died at the
Caressant Care Woodstock, on Nov.
27, 1994 in her 76th year. Mrs
Hunter was a charter member of the
Royal Canadian Legion Ladies
Auxiliary Donnybrook Branch 513,
-Dorchester, and a member of the St.
Peter's Anglican Church, Dor-
chester and ACW.
She is survived by her husband
Maurice, and children Jim (Hazel)
of Lakeside, Betty (Barry) Jones of
Ambcrley, Janet (Frank) Payne of
Dorchester, Shirley (Paul) Hatch of
Minesing, Tom (Susan) of Thames -
ford, Robert (Linda) of Belmont,
George (Dian) of Belmont, .Brian
(Barb) of Thamcsford and Paul
(Barb). . of Dorchester; 27
grandchildren and eight, great
grandchildren; a twin sister Marion
(Bill) Langdown and sister of Ruth
Hammond of Ingersoll.
A memorial service was held by
the Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 513
of the Legion, the evening prior to
the funeral. -
Rev. Todd. Townshend" of St.
Peter's Anglican Church officiated
.at the funeral on Nov. 30, at the
•.Bieman Funeral Home, in Dor-
chester.
The. eulogy was given by a long
time friend, Betty Robinson, and
Mrs. Hunter's*• grandson, Thom
Payne, read the poem•"Grandma".
Pallbearers wete six grandsons:'
James Bullard, Dan -Hunter, Maurcy
Payne, Colin Hatch, Nicholas
Hunter, and Ian Hunter. •

granddaughters Patty Hunter and
Amanda •Hunter.

Roderick John MacDonald
Roderick (Rod) John MacDonald,
of London, formerly of Ashfield
Township, died on Dec. 3, 1994, in
his 71st year.
He is survived by his wife Anna
(Ann) McKay, and children
Douglas and Ivy and grandchildren
Lee and Todd Krause of Calgary,
Donald and Anna Marie and
grandchildren Bonnie, •Deenie,
Michael and Steven Dribnenki of
Saskatoon; sister Bertha and Lloyd
Taylor, brother Kenneth and
Margery MacDonald, and brother-
in-law Roy Havens. •
He is &so survived by Aunt Jes-
sie A. Noble and several nieces and
nephews.
Mr. MacDonald was predeceased
by his parents R.D. and Mary
(Mclvor) and sister Isabel Havens.
Due to the wishes of the
deceased, cremation has taken place
and a memorial service will be held
at St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, Mt. Brydges, on Dec. 10 at
1 p.m. Denning Bros. Funeral
Home, Strathroy in charge of arran-
gements. Friends will be received
by the family from 12 to 1 p.m. at
St. Andrews.

Hospital Foundation (oncology
dept.) 268 Grosvenor St., London,
