Fashions and models were from Wingham, Blyth and Teeswater businesses. Carol Helfenstein, editor and publisher of the. Teeswater News, was commentator for the event. Music was provided by soloist Jean Betts, and pianists Helen Keith and Myrla Frank. The committee of Marie Phillips, Marilyn Wood, Marion MacKenzie, Dianne Dolittle, Mary Lou Cameron and Marlene Leedham was very. pleased with the turnout and suc- cess of this fund-raising event. All proceeds go to the work of the auxiliary. In the third, Wainwright as- sisted by Rob McGee put Lucknow up by three before Wingham scored twice, once on the power play. The game belonged to Lucknow as they totally dominated, scoring 12 times to Howick's four. Earning points for Lucknow were M. Stanley with five goals and one. assist, Wainwright with four goals and two assists, Brian Stanley one goal and one assist, Conor .McDonagh one goal, Rob McGee one goal, Jeff -Andrew four assists, and Dennis Andrew 'two assists. Lucknow's next home game is next Tuesday, December &against Wallace. ' Lancers improve record - The Lucknow Lancers Senior B hockey team improved their record to .6 and 1 over the weekend, with back-to-back wins 'against the Grand Valley Tornadoes. On Friday; Lucknow came from behind to win 5 - 4 in overtime. The Lancersi trailed 4 - 2 after two periods, but tied the game to force overtime. Brad Murray scored on a wrap around to win the game. Chris Irwin had two goals and two as- sists, and Brad Priestap and Steve Michie had the other goals. Dean Lindsay and Chris Fryfogle shared the net duties! On Sunday, on home ice, Luck - now led 1 - 0 after one period and 4 - 1 after two, and went on to win 8-3. Murray led the way with three goals and two assists. Dale Priestap and Chris Irwin each had a goal and three assists. Russell Sutton had one goal and two assists, while Darrin Lindsay and Brad Priestap racked up one of each. The Lancers take to the road this. weekend playing in Tiverton Friday' night and Ripley on Sunday night. Atom B's play hard; no wins The Lucknow Atom B's took' to home ice twice this week. Playing Wingham for the third time this season, the game was tied at two all on goals by Wyatt Kwan and Stephen Van Meeteren, Midway through the third, Wingham scored and hung to take a 4 - 2 win. On Friday night, Ayton came to town .and following two periods of close play went on to win another hard fought game.
