President Isabel Thompson opened the meeting with the poem Being Today. Rollcall was to name a Sunday School teacher and a'memory from those days. • Marilyn Reid led in the devotions on the commandment "You shall have no other God before me." We must impress the living God; not ourselves or others. The offering was taken and dedicated and the planning for the Thankoffe'ring meeting took place. Joan Barr led the study on the topic Global Economics and, third world countries. Is there anything we can do to help the poor? A discussion was .held with opinions and ideas about the situation given. A social time followed with a silent auction.
