Olive Clark, of Atwood, and Mrs. Albert Hutton of Listowel visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Gibb. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ross and Alexander, of Waterloo, spent the weekend with his parents Don and Jean Ross. Tuesday visitors with Don and Jean were Helen and Janet Farrcr of Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Purdon returned recently from a three-week trip to the east coast, where they spent some time at the cottage of Reg and Marie Clune of Arisaig, Nova Scotia. They attended the square dance convention in Halifax, the highland games in Antigonish, and the south shore exhibition in Bridgewater where they enjoyed the ox pulls. They came along the Bay of Fundy coast line into New Brunswick. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott and Karen were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Roberston, of W ingham. Judy Parry and daughter Brook of Bright, and Danny Leghorn of, Burkley, Michigan spent two days last wcek with George and Betty Armstrong. Mildred McClcnaghcn, John McKinnon attended .the 60th an- niversary on Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Oliver -McCharles of Kincar- dine, with Rev. and Mrs. Clarence McClcnaghcn of .Kincardine. Kathleen Elliott, Dora Neilson attended. the special meeting at St. Andrew's Pres- byterian Church Wingham, where a speaker from the Leprosy mission was guest speaker. Paul and Linda Smitts returned home on last Sunday from a two week trip to Holland, Amsterdam, the Hague, Dusselorf Germany, where they visited Paul's relatives, and enjoyed a great • trip of sightseeing and visiting. Carmen, Jean Whytock received word on Sunday, Sept. 3, that Rev.• Jack and Nancy Whytock of Monckton, N.B. welcomed a new baby girl. The Maitland WMS Fall rally took place in the form of a bus trip on Sept. 8 with a trip to King City to the Augustinian Monastery there, then on to St. Andrew's Pres- byterian Church at. King City for a luncheon. In the afternoon we travelled on to see the Sharon Temple and museum of Sharon, Ont.
