Gibbs return home after
month in Saskatchewan
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Gibb returned
home recently after spending a
month, with their sons Mr. and
Mrs: Murray Gibb and family, of
Saskatodn, Saskatchewan, Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Gibb and family, near
Wawancsa, Manitoba, and Dave's
brother, Mr, and Mrs. Bob Gibb
and family of Winnipeg.
Olive Clark, of Atwood, and Mrs.
Albert Hutton of Listowel visited
recently with Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Gibb.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ross and
Alexander, of Waterloo, spent the
weekend with his parents Don and
Jean Ross.
Tuesday visitors with Don and
Jean were Helen and Janet Farrcr of
Kitchener.
Sunday school resumes at Chal-
mers Presbyterian Church,, on Sept.

the weekend with Mr. and Mrs.

last Wednesday after a two-week
trip by motorhome to P.E.I. They
visited Mrs. Milligan's brother,-

and friends in Charlottetown and

They had excellent weather and a
good trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Purdon
returned recently from a three-week
trip to the east coast, where they
spent some time at the cottage of
Reg and Marie Clune of Arisaig,
Nova Scotia. They attended the
square dance convention in Halifax,
the highland games in Antigonish,
and the south shore exhibition in
Bridgewater where they enjoyed the
ox pulls. They came along the Bay
of Fundy coast line into New
Brunswick.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott and
Karen were Sunday visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Roberston, of
W ingham.
Judy Parry and daughter Brook of
Bright, and Danny Leghorn of,
Burkley, Michigan spent two days
last wcek with George and Betty
Armstrong.

McKinnon attended .the 60th an-
niversary on Sunday for Mr. and
Mrs. Oliver -McCharles of Kincar-
dine, with Rev. and Mrs. Clarence
McClcnaghcn of .Kincardine. Mrs.
Edith Swan of Bruceficld• was a
recent visitor with Mildred,
Mildred Purdon,. Kathleen Elliott,
Dora Neilson attended. the special
meeting at St. Andrew's Pres-
byterian Church Wingham, where a
speaker from the Leprosy mission
was guest speaker.
Paul and Linda Smitts returned
home on last Sunday from a two
week trip to Holland, Amsterdam,
the Hague, Dusselorf Germany,
where they visited Paul's relatives,
and enjoyed a great • trip of
sightseeing and visiting.
Carmen, Jean Whytock received
word on Sunday, Sept. 3, that Rev.•
Jack and Nancy Whytock of
Monckton, N.B. welcomed a new
baby girl.
The Maitland WMS Fall rally
took place in the form of a bus trip
on Sept. 8 with a trip to King City
to the Augustinian Monastery there,
then on to St. Andrew's Pres-
byterian Church at. King City for a
luncheon.
In the afternoon we travelled on
to see the Sharon Temple and
museum of Sharon, Ont.
Refreshments were enjoyed by all
there, then on to Newmarket for
supper, shopping was enjoyed by
all, 'going from Whitechurch was
Kathleen Elliott, Mildred Pardon,
Jean Ross, Kathy. Gibson.
