Verna Schaaf (Purdon)
1923-1994
Vern -a Schaaf, formerly of Luck -
now, died at the Fordwich Village
Nursing Home on Wednesday, Sept.
7, 1994, in her 71st year.
She was a member of the Legion
Auxiliary, Branch 309.
She was born on May 22, 1923,
in East Wawanosh Twp., a daughter
of John and Anne Mae Purdon.
Mrs. Schaaf is survived by her
son Percy. McClenaghan and his
wife Sharon of Clinton, her
daughter Cheryl and her husband
Obituary
Donald Saunders of RR 6 Goderich,
and her son Calvin McClenaghan
and his wife Mandy of Lucknow.
She is also survived by siblings
Clifford Purdon of Goderich, Olive
Zinn of Wingham, Russet Purdon
of Pike Lake, Ken Portion of
Thorndal'e, and Reta Morrison of
RR 1 Lucknow.
Mrs. Schaaf is survived by seven
grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her

seeking the public's assistance in
the investigation of a break, enter
and theft , which occurred in
Chesley, Ontario.
The Walkerton Detachment of the
Ontario Provincial Police report that
sometithe overnight of May l6,
1994 unknown persons broke into .
Multiple Enterprises in Chesley. •
Suspects gained entry by smashing -
a window at the rear of • the
building. Once inside, they
removed several- items including
micrometers, • clutch pullers,and
approximately $310.00 in ash:
Desks and filing cabinets were also
damaged.
The approximate value of the
stolen property and damage to the
building is estimated to be over
$1,200.00.
