Verna Schaaf (Purdon) 1923-1994 Vern -a Schaaf, formerly of Luck - now, died at the Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 1994, in her 71st year. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Branch 309. She was born on May 22, 1923, in East Wawanosh Twp., a daughter of John and Anne Mae Purdon. Mrs. Schaaf is survived by her son Percy. McClenaghan and his wife Sharon of Clinton, her daughter Cheryl and her husband Obituary Donald Saunders of RR 6 Goderich, and her son Calvin McClenaghan and his wife Mandy of Lucknow. She is also survived by siblings Clifford Purdon of Goderich, Olive Zinn of Wingham, Russet Purdon of Pike Lake, Ken Portion of Thorndal'e, and Reta Morrison of RR 1 Lucknow. Mrs. Schaaf is survived by seven grandchildren and great grandchildren.
