The wedding of Anne Bemadette
Boyle, daughter of Cyril and Mary,
and Stephen Lloyd, son of Mary
and the late Roy Lloyd, was solem-
nized at St. Augustine Catholic
Church last Friday,
A reception and dinner were held-
at
eldat the bride's home. Guests were
present from Rochester, N.Y., home
of the groom's parents, and other
points in the USA, Calgary, Grand
Bend, Ottawa, Toronto, Chatham,
London, Blyth, Waterloo and the St,
Augustine area.
Anne. and Stephen will reside in
Hamilton, where he is the associate
professor, chief division of emer-
gency family medicine at McMaster
University, Hamilton. Anne is a
family physician at a clinic at Up-
per Wentworth Street, Hamilton.

non Senior Citizen's . Centre on
Saturday to explain the storm sewer
and basement drainage system plan
to service -all properties and roads
within the village, south of Craw -
food Avenue.
The main truck sewer will begin
at Harvey Culbert's, north .through.
A.J. Sherwood's, up William Street
to the 4th Con, north on Isobel
Street to Crawford Avenue. This is
a large project but is greatly
needed.
A large crowd attended the. stag
and doe for John Van Diepen and
Terry Wall on Friday at the Auburn
Community Centre.
An old' tyme dance with toe -tap-
ping music supplied by the Purple
Grovers was held at the Senior
Centre on Friday.

Award presented by Jean Phillips

Fred . Courtney and his daughter,
Theresa Cornach . of Burlington,
visited on the weekend with his
brother and sister-in-law, Joe and
Teresa Courtney. Theresa returned

Hogan and Courtney relatives.

Wendy • Diane Miltenburg,
daughter of Tony and Stephanie,
R.R. 1, Dungannon, graduated from
the University of Western Ontario
with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Honors Geography with French.
She was on the Dean's Honor list
and received the Universitygold
medal for having the highest stan-
ding in her program.
Wendy will be continuing her
studies at the University of Western
Ontario, Althouse College 'to obtain
her Bachelor of Education Degree.

Cherianne D'Aoust, daughter of
Sandra and Claude, graduated from
Grade 8 at Robertson Memorial
School, Goderich. She will be atten-
ding GDCI in September.
The graduation took place on June
23 at North Street United Church,

hall, The young people enjoyed a
dance following the reception. •
