Richard Walke
Student of the week
Richard Walke of Lucknow is our
Student of the Week. He has . just
graduated from Grade 8 and he will
be attending F.E. Madill Secondary
School next fall. He is considering
a career as a lawyer.
Richard is willing to do a wide
variety of jobs this summer. He
participated in a job shadowing
program at a local store this year
and based on this experience he
feels that he could do a good job in
a retail position. Richard has over
four years experience cutting grass
and caring for flower beds. He
would appreciate the chance to do
yard work for others this summer.
Richard also acquired some ex-
perience as a construction helper
this year when he helped hisfamily
renovate their home.
Most of Richard's experience
consists of odd jobs. As an odd
jobs specialist he would be more
than willing to help with even the.
smallest of tasks.
If you have a job for Richard, or
any other student, please contact the
Canada Employment Centre For
Students at 859 Queen St., Kincar-
dine or call 396-5787, or contact.
the Goderich office at 524-2744.
As you walk around Lucknow
you can't help but admire the many
beautiful yards and gardens with all
the flowers and landscaping.
Another thing we can be proud of
is our Lucknow Legion Pipe Band
that provided a fitting conclusion
for the Homecoming Parade in
Wingham on July 1. Well done!
