Mrs. Buchmeier gave the Bible study on how we should slow down and take time to reevaluate our lives. It seems our way of life is always rushing and being very busy: •Marilynn Gilchrist very capably did the study book on "Making Sense Out of Our Dollars". Economics is an everyday topic on the news and the papers. Systems of exchange have a lot to do with different countries. It depends on the resources and the goods and services that are available and how they are produced or distributed. There are three kinds of systems - traditional, common and market economics. The economics make the marginal decisions but we as Christians have the responsibility to make certain decisions on how we make use of our money. Margaret Hamilton read the offertory prayer. A work bee to clean the church is set for June 11 at 9 a.m., the day before the anniversary services on Sunday. Mrs. Gilchrist and Mrs. Buch- meier were directors and served lunch.
