INDICATOR
UPGRADE KIT

Butler Scale Systems has in-
troduced an Indicator Upgrade Kit
that makes it possible for
customers with old or inoperative
scale systems on grinder -mixers,
platform scales, or feed mixers to
install a new indicator without
replacing functioning load cells.
The kit features an adapter
which can be plugged into an ex-
isting junction -box or weighbar
and then into a Butler indicator. A
choice of kits is available: one for
adapting a Butler OMP -10 or
OMP -20 to systems with Eaton
LVDT compression load cells, and
one for adapting a Butler OMP -5,
OMP -10, OMP -15, or OMP -20 to
a Weigh-Tronix 3/4 bridge weigh -
bar.
Butler offers four micro-
processor indicator models. The
OMP -5 is the most basic indicator.
Standard features include a built-
in LCD heater and an easy to read
LCD display with 3/4 -inch high
numerals. The OMP -10 has pro-
gramable batching features which
make it ideal for the weight
management requirements of
TMR (total mixed ration) cattle
feeding as well as other batching
needs. The OMP -15 incorporates
all the features of the OMP -5 plus
built-in - memory, an optional
radio -controlled transmit-
ter/receiver for remote operation,
and an optional printer. The
OMP -20, Butler's top of the line
model, features two LCD displays
which permit the separate and con-
tinuous display of the pre-set
amount in batching applications,
plus a remote display and printer
option.
