Both the Huron Plowmen's
Association and the Huron Soil and
Crop Improvement Association take
responsibility for soil conservation.
And for the first time, Huron's an-
nual Plowing Match will include a
conservation class.
The Huron match on September 13
and 14 is located at the Nott Brothers
Farm east of Clinton on Highway

Pork Fest
The Pork Fest is a new idea created
by the organizers of the Ontario Pork
Congress. It's a consumer's celebra-
tion of pork dishes.
The Stratford Coliseum will be
featuring food booths and
demonstrations from 12 different
restaurants, six from the Stratford
area and six from London and
thereabouts, explains Stephen
Sharpe, event promoter. Guests will
buy four tickets for $11 and can
choose the four meals of their liking.
Demonstrations, entertainment,
and eating will begin at 4:30 p.m.,
September 14. For more information
