Universal animal scale
The Butler Universal/Animal Scale
package includes two scale channels,
four universal mounts, four 1 -inch
DB weigh beams, and one OMP -5 or
OMP -15 indicator. The unit allows
total flexibility, as the decking and
gating can be custom designed.
Features include a 7 -foot long plat-
form that can be built to any width up
to 4 feet between channels. The
recommended decking material is 2"
x 8" lumber or other suitable
material supplied locally. The unit is
portable, and a concrete base is
recommended to ensure uniform
loading on all four weigh beams. The
unit requires 12 volt DC power,
which allows it to be operated with
either a battery or an AC/DC con-
verter. The weighing capacity is 4,000
pounds.
