We can and should help to improve this image. A suggestion was made to give pro- ducer opinions a higher profile. A higher profile is needed on tariffs, subsidies. and other pressing issues. Possibly a more local committee could effectively carry this out. An idea to "twin" with an Iowa pork pro- ducers association was suggested. We need to see each other as friends through this economically difficult time.
