Here then is an excellent opportunity to conserve energy by working the soil no deeper than necessary, by avoiding unnecessary seedbed preparation, by combining tillage, seeding, herbicide application and incorporation ac- tivities every place you can. The Stratford Cook Apprentice Program is a co- operative endeavour between Conestoga College, Canada Manpower, and local restaurant employers. The curriculum extends over two winters of in -school training and three summers of on-the-job training in Stratford's kitchens.
