Shayna weighed in at 6 lbs. 4 oz. on Nov. 6, 1993 at St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Proud parents are Kevin and Kim. Proud grandparents are Tom and Dianne Dickson and Murray and June Rourke, along with great grandmothers Helen Dickson and Donalda Ritchie. Brak - Rudy and Tracy, of R.R. 2; Teeswater, welcome with love their daughter, Emily, born Nov, 8, 1993 at Wingham and District Hospital, weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz. Emily is a wee sister for Matthew, Becky and Joshua. Loss 'of loved ones affects many families and friends What a week it has been in Luck - now with four deaths occurring in a couple of days. The funeral home was a busy place. Sympathy is extended by the whole community to Lillian Irvin and family in the passing of Russell Irvin in Win- gham Hospital, to Gladys Hamilton and members of the Hamilton family in the passing of Al Hamil- ton in Florida; to Jack Needham and family in the passing of Blanche Needham, and also to the family of Ed Green of the St. Helens area. Omar and Dora Brooks are busy moving into their new home on North Delhi St. Their daughter Marie and her family hope to move into their part before long. Welcome to Lucknow to Roy and Mary Robson who moved into their home at 570 Victoria St. the last part of October. Lloyd and Bertha Taylor, from Sarnia, visited with Jessie Johnston last week. It is good to hear that Bill Johnston is able to be home after undergoing surgery in University Hospital, London. Home to visit him on the weekend were his daughter Elizabeth from Vancouver, his son Thain, . Birgit, Odessa, Celine and Andreas from St. Catharines and Nancy, Shawn and LUCKNOW by Mildred Loree Leah Johnston from Collingwood. Clarence and Alice Ritchie en- joyed a family dinner at the Embas- sy Restaurant, in Kincardine, on Saturday, Nov. 13, to celebrate the recent marriage of their daughter Mary Ann, of London to Fred Leget, also of London. Others attending the celebration were Larry and Barb Harper, of Lucknow, Nick and Brenda Barclay of Trowbridge, Don and Karen Ritchie of Lucknow and the newlyweds Fred and Mary Ann Leget, of 316 Ashlend Ave. Lon- don. Redvers"Meff" Johnson, formerly of Lucknow and Ripley, celebrated his 93rd birthday on Nov. 4, in Hanover's Versa Care Centre. His wife, Mildred and daughter; Joan and Art Mitchell visited with him. Mr. Johnson keeps quite well and enjoys hockey on TV. Secret pals are revealed Sharon Nivins was hostess for the Christmas meeting of the Lucknow Junior Women's Institute. A delicious pot luck supper was en- joyed by the 14 members present. Following the meal, cookies were Leget - Ritchie Fred and Mary Ann Leget (nee Ritchie) are pleased to announce their marriage, which took place on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1993 in the beautiful gardens of Couples Resort, Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Fred is the son of Fred and Johanna Leget, of Port Stanley. Mary Ann is the daughter of Clarence and Alice Ritchie, Lucknow. Shoot winners Winners at the shoot party in St. Helen's, sponsored by the Women's Institute were Edna Young, high lady; Norma Raynard, second high; Ross Errington, high man; Wes Young, second high. There was a three way tie between Norma Raynard, Ruth Conley and Teresa Courtney for the most shoots. Teresa won the draw. The next party is Nov. 23. ail Forster - Rombouts Nancy Rombouts and Tom Forster were united in marriage on July 16, 1993. The bride is the daughter of Mary and Adrian Rombouts of Chatham. The provincial project is Ronald McDonald House and it was also noted that 1994 is the Year of the Family. Plans for the upcoming seniors' evening, on Nov. 29 at the Town Hall, were discussed and finalized.
