Edna Stanley visited recently with Helen Smith of London. A number from here attended the Rita McNeil concerts in London or Owen Sound. All said it was an enjoyable concert. Gladys Arnold, Anne and Don McCosh and Mary Anne Kukoly recently attended the Orr reunion near Arthur. The 130th anniversary service. of the Kinlough Presbyterian Church was held last weekend. Congratulations to Andrea Mounton in successfully completing her babysitter course taught at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. Many from here enjoyed the concert put on by the Kincardine Community Singers. Seventy family members of the late E. and Joe Culbert met at the Purple Grove Community Centre for their 28th family gathering last Sunday. Marilyn Reid, Dianne Simpson, Gladys Arnold, Fran Farrell, Kay Collins, Marjorie Thompson and Beuy Needham attended the Bruce South W.I. District Annual in PURPLE GROVE Kincardine. The special speaker Christine Johnston spoke on the family lifestyles program which everyone found informative. Thank You to Marily Carruthers and her students for putting on excellent piano recitals last week. It was very encouraging to see how the pupils have progressed. Recent visitors at the home of Fran and Jim Farrell and family were Bruce Aitken of Ayr and Marlene Godfrey and Dirk Logtenberg of Dungannon. Marg Kuehl of Waterloo spent a few days with her cousin Kay Collins. Tina Campbell of Amberly visited with them last Friday evening. Sunday they all visited with Marjorie Thompson and Isabel Brook. A special feature at the Knox Presbyterian Church Anniversary were the Goderich Harboraires. Rev. Ken Barker of Owen Sound was the guest speaker. The last day of the seniors school days was held on May. 26 at June Daniels with a pot luck meal. Marilyn Mounton and family hosted a relatives a shower for Glenda Gamble last Saturday.
