On Monday Apr. 19 Adrian Kor-
ten came to visit the school. He
talked to the students about
Wycliffe Bible Translators and the
work he plan's to do in their Van-
couver office. He showed slides
about the children around the world
and what their lives are like, and
another show about work of the
Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Mr. Korten talked to the students
and asked them what they would or
wouldn't like about living in a
Third -world country. He explained
how translators had to go into
another country and learn their
language before they could translate
the Bible,
We would like to give Adrian a
special thanks for taking the time to
come out to the Lucknow and
..District Christian School to tell us
about Wycliffe.

Projects: On Thursday Apr. 15, Mr.
•Cameron talked to the students
about their projects and asked them
questions to understand them better.
We would like to give the senior
citizens from Sepoy Apartments a
very special thanks. On Monday,
Apr. 19, the senior citizens came to
our school and did very interesting
things with the primary grades.
They read to the kindergartners and
first graders and, in turn, the
kindergartens and first graders read
to them.
The senior citizens also made
beautiful flower arrangements with
the third and fourth graders.
Well, spring is here and the fifth
and sixth graders celebrated it by
decorating their room. They tacked
their spring poems on the bulletin
boards and covered the walls with
paper tulips and daffodils.

These Brookside students chose plants as their environmental workshop last week on Earth Day.
The expansion of peat pops when added to water caused some oohs and aahs. The students.
then placed the peat pops in organic starter pots and planted marigold seed. Left to right are
