Convention Resolutions:
There was some discussion on having
a county meeting beforehand to
discuss resolutions as has been done
in the past or for each I.S.M. area to
have individual meetings to discuss
them. Motion by John Nesbit,
seconded by Bob Harrison to have a
special meeting and not have the indi-
vidual meetings. Motion defeated.
Each I.S.M. area will have their own
meeting sometime after early No-
vember to discuss the resolutions.
Carol will find out when the resolu-
tions will be mailed out. The regional
directors, both old and new will plan
the time and place of meetings.
Meetings with Township Councils:
Motion by Les Caldwell, seconded by
Kevin Kale to write a letter to the
township councils asking for time on
their agendas. Carried.
Election of Four Executive Members:
Nominations -Gary Baker, Brenda
McIntosh, John Hoonard, Mel
Greig, Bruce Bergsma, Hans Ras-
mussen, Walter Elliott, Bob Har-
rison. Those standing were: Gary
Baker, Hans Rasmussen and Bob
Harrison. All others declined. Mo-
tion by Doug Garniss to re -open no-
minations, seconded by Brenda
McIntosh, Carried.
Nominations:
Les Caldwell, John Nesbit, Kevin
Kale, Brenda McIntosh. Kevin Kale
elected; all others declined.
Next executive meeting to be Nov. 3,
1983 at the Vanastra office.
Agricultural Code of Practice:
Motion by Paul Klopp, seconded by
John Nesbit that H.C.F.A. Proper-
ties Committee have input into the
review of the Agricultural Code of
Practice. Carried. Bob Harrison an-
nounced the Grey Township Annual
Meeting would be Nov. 16 at 12
noon. Adjournment 10:45 p.m.❑
