Centralia College of Agricultural Technology with the help of area Ontario Ministry
of Agriculture and Food personnel and funding assistance from the Canada
Employment and Immigration Commission offer the following continuing educa-
tion programs.
CERTIFICATE TRAINING PROGRAMS
Training Allowance for
Eligible Applicants
(1) Dairy Herdworker
January 9 - March 30
20 days of practical classes at the College
and 40 days of on farm training conducted
by selected farmer trainers.
(ii) Swine Herdworker
January 23 - April 13
20 days of practical classes at the College
and 40 days of on farm training conducted
by selected farmer trainers.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Anyone, male or female who is at least 17 years of
age, has at least Grade 8 education and out of school
at least one year may apply.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - Applicants
should have one year farm experience on a dairy or
swine farm. Preference will be given to applicants
who do not have post -secondary agricultural
education.
