Assistance Applications
Four new lending institutions are
now accepting applications for the
Beginning Farmer Assistance Pro-
gram, Agriculture and Food Minister
Dennis Timbrell has announced.
The Beginning Farmer program,
announced in late August, will make
up to $135 million available in in-
terest rebates to beginning farmers
over the next five years.

ches of Victoria and Grey Trust Com-
pany; the Clinton Community Credit
Union of Clinton; the Innisfil
Farmer's Credit Union of Stroud,
and the St. Willibrord Credit Union
of London.
Under the program, farmers may
apply for interest rebates on loans us-
ed to purchase land, fixed im-
provements, breeding stock, quota
and machinery and permanent farm
