New rural organizations specialist
New face at Clinton's OMAF office is
John Bancroft, the rural organizations
specialist. He will be working closely with
agricultural organizations, including 4-H
clubs. At present, he's working on organiz-
ing the exchange trip for 4-H members to
Saskatchewan.
John is a native of a Mornington
Township swine and crop farm in Perth
County where he had seven years' ex-
perience in the 4-H program. He is a 1981
graduate in Animal Science from the On-
tario Agricultural College, University of
Guelph. As a matter of interest, he was a
classmate of John Heard, who has been
working at the Agricultural Office, Clin-
ton, since graduation.
John Bancroft has served as Assistant
Agricultural Representative in Prince Ed-
ward County as well as Carleton County.
He was married in June and his wife, also
a graduate in Animal Science, is a Purina
representative in Elgin and Middlesex
counties. 7
