Six young women who were competing for the Pork Hostess job at this year's Ontario Pork Congress were presented to the

Earlier in the day each girl had a brief interview with the three judges (Stratford Mayor Ted Blowes, Tom Turner from the OPP-
MB and Bev Brown, co -publisher of The Rural Voice) and gave a two minute speech on the Ontario Pork Congress.
Winner was Mary O'Grady from Castleton. who was sponsored by the Northumberland Junior Farmers. Don McLean,
organizer of this contest, was very pleased with the contestants' knowledge and enthusiasm for the pork industry and the
Congress.
