The future looks bright and rosy for the
young business. Van Den Berg is looking
at the possibility of building a green-
house for starting seedlings for sale and
for flower production through the winter
months. When he gets a break from the
ever busy market, he studies ways and
ideas for heating greenhouses. Van Den
Berg is considering all options including
both solar and renewable resource en-
ergy.
The Van Den Bergs are trying to
preserve the farm fresh image and
products like jams, Wellesley apple
products and Wiley Bros. fruit juices are
preferred for their lack of chemical pre-
servatives.
The Van Den Bergs are a young family
with their third child due in October and
are taking the expansion of their small
business carefully and slowly to ensure
that they have a future.
Keep your eyes open for pick your own
places and look for signs on the road
sides for bargains.
