Mason & Mr. McNeilly for their participa-
tion. A computer was available for
demonstration during the break.

Discussion on the Review and Planning
Committee Paper with the following
points:
1. most counties in Province are basic-
ally happy.
2. feel they need a closer link with OFA.
3. suggest a standard County Constitu-
tion.
4. counties & OFA need more financing.
5.
considered raising membership often-
er than every 10 yrs. or so.
6. levy through property tax
program.
7. the paper to be discussed at County
level & taken back to OFA Dir. Mtg. -
final form to be ready by November
convention.
FFAP—Farm Financial Assistance Pro-
gram
OFA has hired one person on a six
months basis for solving these problems.
Property Tax Proposal—
Bill Trick, secretary of the Huron
Federation Volunteer Task Force Com-
mittee made a presentation on the
proposal - the legislation is now in the
advanced draft stage and could be
presented to Parliament any day.
- following groups are opposed to the
proposal: Peel CFA, Huron County
Council, Bruce County Council, Grey
County Fd, Halton CFA, Simcoe County.
Halton Regional County and Essex
County are still debating the Proposal.
