formation of a committee to look into
swine health problems and to report
back through the OPPMB on the herd
health and how it can be improved. The
committee would include members from
OPPMB, Meat Packers Council, Quality
Swine, Ont. Swine Council, Agriculture
Canada, and other organizations in-
volved with the pork industry.

BRUCE JUNIOR FARMERS' ELECTIONS
The Bruce County Junior Farmers did
it again. On January 22, 1983 a suc-
cessful dance was held at the Mildmay
Carrick Recreation Complex with Mid-
night Express playing the music.
A donation of $1254.21 was raised for
Participation Lodge in Holland Centre in
connection with the Telethon for the
Stars held that weekend. Congratula-
tions Bruce County on working so hard
to complete your first Community Bet-
terment Project for 1983.

Eastern Ontario will speak on "Positive Thinking for Farm Women".
12 noon Lunch will be catered by the Thorndale Women's Institute. Luncheon
program: The OMMB will present ideas on how to effectively market
farm products.
1:30 p.m. George Penfold from University of Guelph will discuss the results of the
survey by the Concerned Farm Women of Bruce County.
2:45 p.m. Ross Daily, farm editor from CFPL-TV London, will speak on
"Consumer -farmer relations".
