Warriors' Day parade. Shrine parade and ceremonial. free
grandstand, Western Ontario's major livestock show and sale,
photography and amateur winemaking competitions.
BRUSSELS FAIR, Sept. 15, 16, at south end of villge, features the
Blyth-Belgrave Beef, Hallrice Dairy and Brussels calf shows;
horse shows, heavy and light.
DURHAM FAIR, Sept. 18. 19. features 2 presentation of field
crop awards. Jr. Calf Club, 4-H Calf Club Achievement Day,
dance and waltz competition.
LUCKNOW FAIR, Sept. 18. 19 features local entertainment,
field crop competition, 4-H Calf Competition, and Mid -Western
Ontario Beauty Contest.
MEAFORD AND ST. VINCENT FAIR, Sept. 18, 19, 20 features
open gymkhana, invitational 4-H calf sheep shows, and barbecue
supper.
PAISLEY FAIR, Sept. 21, 22 features exhibits of baking, school
work, flowers and crafts. canning and pickling. art and quilts.
SEAFORTH FAIR, Sept. 24, 25, 26. features fair queen
competition, western horse show, livestock competition, junior
fair for 4-H, junior farmers and junior institutes, greasy pole
contest and calf scramble.
