New secretary
-treasurer in Bruce
Bruce County Federation of Agriculture has a ne+c secretary -
treasurer. Her name is Mrs. Bruce MacDonald (nee Mary
Krauter). Mary started working with the Federation in

November of last year. A t the same time, Mary works for the
Grey County Federation of Agriculture. Between the two
federations she is kept busy the three days she is in the Hanover
office.
Mary's job involves bookkeeping. taking the minutes at each
directors meeting. handles all the correspondence that goes out
of the Hanover office and also doing work for the townships.

keeps an up-to-date file on all the 1SM's in Bruce and Grey
Federations.
Mary just graduated from John Dicfenbaker Secondary School
in June 1980 with her Secondary School Honour Graduation
Diploma and a Business Education Certificate. Mary also
graduated from Chesley District High School with her Secondary
School Graduation Diploma.
Mary spends her leisure time being a 4-H member. singing,
playing guitar and flute. sewing. taking good care of her
husband and her household.

Bruce area development
The Bruce County Federation of Agriculture held a very
informative meeting on Jan. 19 at the Underwood Community
Centre. President Borden Fenton said the meeting was held to
inform the residents of the area of the proposed development in
the Bruce Nuclear area and the possibilities and benefits it could
have to the local farmers and residents.
