The Rural Voice, 1980-11, Page 15The driving shed, belonging to Tom
Christie of Teeswater was picked up
and taken off its foundation. Three of
his forage wagons were picked up in
the air and flung in the fields, all
three a total write-off.
Ray Pennington's grain bins were
damaged when the top of his silo
smashed into the barn. His son
Murray narrowly escaped injury. He
had left the feed room just seconds
before the silo top destroyed it.
Bruce Keith's barn at Teeswater had
the roof blown off. One farmer
reported his stave silo shifted six
inches. Trees were uprooted and
deposited in fields with their roots
intact.
